Originally created in 2021 by the donation of $15,088.49 from over 100 supportive graduates, the Association again drew upon its Convocation Awards Fund, the portion managed by the Pearson Educational Foundation, to award the following bursaries:
- Carys Campbell – $150 BHS Aileen Proudfoot Award
- Vince Cohen – $150 Robert Needham Award
- Katie Barclay – $150 Wendell W. Roberts Award
These bursaries will be presented at the June 2024 BHS convocation event, held again at the John Abbott CEGEP campus. If the current bursary plan is maintained, the endowment represented by the Alumni Association CAF should last for a further 24 years.
