Beaconsfield High School – 50th Reunion

50th Reunion Committee

I
think my yearbook ambition read either Interior Decorator or
Journalist but I have actually spent most of my career in the
Education sector, with brief stints as a corporate trainer and
running a private counselling practice.  Education has proven to
be a very challenging and satisfying career field as I have been
a teacher, guidance counsellor, consultant, university
admissions officer and, most recently, a specialist in career
orientation, adult general education and vocational and
technical training in Qubecs Minist
re
de lducation, du Loisir et du Sport.

Several of
my most satisfying years were spent at BHS as a member of the
guidance staff.  Consequently, I am looking forward to the 50th
anniversary celebration not only  to reconnect with my vintage
classmates, but also with former colleagues and students from
the early 1970s. This year I have returned to freelancing and
am still adjusting to working out of the much quieter setting of
a home office.  Consequently, those who come to the reunion may
find me more of a babbler than they remember. Ill try to
contain myself.

Life has
been good to me.  I hope to hear the same from old friends next
October!
