Notice of Annual General Meeting
The Alumni Association of Beaconsfield High School will hold its Annual General Meeting on THURSDAY May 23, 2019, at the School, to review its Constitution, receive a financial report, elect its Officers, and to formally comply with all necessary legal obligations for this committee of volunteers.
The following is a list of the nine Executive Committee voting positions. Nominations will also be welcomed from the alumni who present themselves at the meeting:
President; Vice-President; Secretary; Treasurer; Activity Coordinator; Publicity Coordinator; Reunion Coordinator; Staff Coordinator; Membership Registrar.
NOTE: The Executive Committee shall consist of the following officers elected in years ending with an odd number: President, Treasurer, Membership Registrar, Activity Coordinator and Staff Coordinator; and of the following officers elected in years ending with an even number: Vice-President, Secretary, Publicity Coordinator & Newsletter Editor, and Reunion Coordinator. As well, Principal Michelle Harper (or the Principal’s Representative) and the Past-President are part of the Executive Committee and have all rights, privileges and obligations of other members of the Executive Committee but hold no voting privileges at meetings of the Executive Committee.
The Association known as the “Alumni Association of Beaconsfield High School” (“l’Association des anciens et anciennes de l’École secondaire Beaconsfield”) is a not-for-profit legal person (personne morale) formed under Part III of the Companies Act (RSQ ch. C-38, section 218) holding letters patent under the registry/matricule # 1161465431.
