Douglas
attended BHS from 1973, graduating in 1976. At BHS, Douglas was
involved with the A/V Department and Film-Making. In 1976,
Douglas moved to the Toronto area and completed post-secondary
education at Sheridan College in Brampton, ON, graduating with a
Corporate Administration Major in Business Administration. After college, Douglas moved to Edmonton, AB, where he worked for the CIBC in places such as Fort Smith and Inuvik NT, as well as various branches in Edmonton. In 1981, Douglas returned to the Toronto area and worked for East West Courier Ltd which was purchased by FedEx in 1988. Douglas continued his interest in technology and film-making and is currently working as an Information Security Specialist at FedEx Canada, as well as running his own business - Aralai Productions which does creative communications and marketing, primarily web-based. Douglas is married and living in Newmarket, ON with two teenage daughters (17 & 19) who will both be going to college/university in September 2008! |
